Cross-market conclusion
INTERPRETATION: For the first time this week, both exchanges moved in the same direction. The DSE gain was broad and better supported: every DSE index rose, A/D reached 2.60x, non-block turnover increased +19.63% to Tk 4,633.78 mn, and mutual funds (23 up, 0 down of 30) and equities ex-funds (214/87) both advanced. Turnover concentrated further in Textile, Insurance and Engineering (top-three share 53.6% vs 51.0%), and SAIHAMTEX alone traded Tk 434.35 mn. On the CSE, the rebound and turnover jump are encouraging but rest on provisional index data and a large share of block trades (20.83%).
